Culver Lofts is designed as a gateway along the Culver Boulevard Bike path and Busway. The massing of the residential building is designed with a palette of lightweight natural materials that bring texture and warmth. Vertical lines rise from the solid parking block and step away from the streets it borders. The broken rhythm of the balconies and window openings are screened from the Southwest sun. Large windows are used in lieu of balconies for closer connection of the units to the exterior. Window walls open the apartments to the natural light and exterior.
